The Director and Writer

Director/Writer Joel Gilbert

Joel Gilbert is a graduate of the University of London's School of Oriental and African Studies and London School of Economics and Political Science. Gilbert has lived, studied, and traveled in the Middle East, including Egypt, Israel, Morocco, and Pakistan. He speaks Arabic and Hebrew, and lectures on Islamism and the Middle East. Gilbert directed and produced four acclaimed films on Bob Dylan's career and music, including Rolling Thunder and The Gospel Years and Bob Dylan Never Ending Tour Diaries. Gilbert also produced Farewell Israel: Bush, Iran and The Revolt of Islam (more at Wikipedia)

The Narrator

Lance Lewman is a distinguished voiceover artist who has narrated documentaries on the PBS NOVA series, National Geographic's highly rated Taboo Series, and the Discovery Channel.

scarlett stonerViolinist Scarlet Rivera and Bassist Rob Stoner performed on Bob Dylan's Desire album, and subsequent Rolling Thunder Review tour and appeared in Dylan's film Renaldo and Clara. Rivera's sultry violin helps fill the original documentary soundtrack. Bruce Langhorne played tambourine and guitar on early Bob Dylan albums. Atomic Jihad theme song "Dangerous Place" written and sung by Rob Stoner.
